Chicken Filling
- 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Slider Assembly
- 1 package King’s Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (remaining half)
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded (remaining half)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Prepare butter mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder. Set this aside to brush on the slider tops later.
- Mix chicken filling: In a separate bowl, mix shredded rotisserie chicken with ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Prepare rolls: Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13 baking dish to form a base layer.
- Add chicken mixture: Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Top with cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the chicken layer for extra cheesiness.
- Assemble sliders: Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese layer to complete the sandwich assembly.
- Brush with butter mixture: Brush the tops of the slider buns generously with the melted butter and garlic mixture for flavor and browning.
- Bake covered: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
- Bake uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops turn golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Remove from the oven, slice between the rolls to separate the sliders, and serve warm.
