Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry then season evenly with salt, black pepper, and paprika to ensure flavorful, well-seasoned meat.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté Garlic: Reduce heat to low in the same skillet and add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not burned.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the skillet’s bottom to loosen browned bits. Add lemon zest and simmer the sauce for 3–4 minutes to meld the flavors.
  5. Simmer Chicken in Sauce: Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the top and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes to heat through and infuse flavor.
  6. Prepare Garlic Butter: In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté briefly until aromatic.
