- 5 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 additional cups mini marshmallows

- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup light Karo syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray and set it aside to ensure the bars do not stick after setting.
- Combine Cereal: Pour the Golden Grahams cereal into a large mixing bowl and set it aside, ready to be coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Melt Ingredients: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the chocolate chips, 5 cups of mini marshmallows, light Karo syrup, and vanilla extract to the pan.
- Mix Until Smooth: Stir continuously over low heat until the chocolate chips and marshmallows have fully melted and combined into a smooth, glossy mixture.
- Combine with Cereal: Immediately pour the melted mixture over the Golden Grahams cereal. Stir thoroughly until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow chocolate mixture.
- Add Extra Marshmallows: Gently fold in the additional 2 cups of mini marshmallows to add extra gooey texture and sweetness.
- Press and Set: Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it down evenly using a spatula or your hands to compact the bars. Optionally, sprinkle more mini marshmallows on top for decoration.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the bars to cool completely at room temperature so they set firmly before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For easier cutting, let the bars cool completely or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- You can substitute light Karo syrup with corn syrup or honey, but it will slightly alter the texture.
