Gummy Bear Fizz Recipe

  • Author: Marina
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

Gummy Bear Fizz is a fun and fruity fizzy drink that combines your favorite gummy bears with lemon-lime soda, fruit juice, and sparkling water for an exciting, candy-infused beverage perfect for parties and casual refreshment.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup gummy bears (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7UP)
  • 1 cup fruit juice (mango, cranberry, pineapple, or blue raspberry punch)
  • ½ cup club soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Optional Garnishes

  • Gummy bears on skewers
  • Fresh fruit slices (orange, lime, or lemon)
  • Sugar for rimming glasses

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glasses: Add about ¼ cup of gummy bears to the bottom of each tall glass. If desired, create a sugar rim by dipping the glass rim in lemon juice and then into sugar for a sparkly touch.
  2. Mix the Base: In a large cup or pitcher, combine 1 cup of your chosen fruit juice with 1 cup of lemon-lime soda. Stir in ½ cup of club soda or sparkling water to add extra fizz and balance the sweetness.
  3. Pour and Watch the Magic Happen: Pour the mixed beverage into the prepared glasses over the gummy bears. Observe as the gummy bears float and swirl, soaking up the flavors.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Garnish by adding a few more gummy bears on a skewer or floating on top of the drink. Serve with a straw and enjoy the fizzy, fruity candy delight!

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, use Sprite as your lemon-lime soda; for a less sweet option, try Perrier Lemon Sparkling Water.
  • Mix the juice and soda ahead of time and refrigerate, but add gummy bears just before serving to prevent them from dissolving too quickly.
  • To serve a crowd, triple the recipe and use a large drink dispenser. Keep gummy bears in small bowls so guests can add them individually.
  • Store any leftover mixed juice and soda (without gummy bears) refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
