  • Diet: Gluten Free

Description

Delicious and crispy Spinach Dip Cheese Crisps are a perfect low-carb snack, combining fresh spinach with a blend of cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Baked to golden perfection, these easy-to-make crisps are ideal for entertaining or snacking anytime.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese and Spinach Mixture

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese. Add the chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Stir thoroughly until the ingredients are evenly blended into a consistent mixture.
  3. Form the Crisps: Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of the cheese and spinach mixture and place them approximately 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Gently flatten each mound slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers to form crisp shapes.
  4. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. The crisps should turn lightly golden brown and be crispy around the edges. For even baking, rotate the tray halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Cool and Serve: Allow the crisps to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes to set, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature for a tasty snack.

Notes

  • Use fresh spinach for the best texture and flavor; if using frozen, thaw and squeeze out excess water before mixing.
  • You can substitute garlic powder and onion powder with fresh minced garlic and onions for a stronger flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat briefly in the oven to restore crispiness.
  • These crisps are naturally low-carb and gluten-free, making them suitable for keto and gluten-free diets.
