  • Author: Marina
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 2-3 servings 1x

Description

This Honey Butter Chicken Alfredo recipe combines tender cubed chicken glazed with a sweet honey butter sauce, paired with creamy homemade Alfredo sauce and perfectly cooked fettuccine pasta. A rich and comforting dish that balances savory and sweet flavors for a satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp butter

Pasta

  • 250 g fettuccine

Sauce

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the fettuccine. Cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare honey butter chicken: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drizzle the honey over the chicken and stir to coat evenly, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until the chicken is glazed. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  3. Make Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine: Add the cooked fettuccine and honey butter chicken into the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together gently to coat the pasta and chicken evenly with the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  5. Serve: Plate the Honey Butter Chicken Alfredo hot, optionally garnished with extra parmesan or chopped parsley.

Notes

  • Use fresh parmesan cheese for the best flavor and creaminess.
  • Adjust the amount of honey to taste if you prefer less sweetness.
  • You can substitute fettuccine with any pasta like linguine or penne.
  • For a richer sauce, add a little more heavy cream or butter.
