  • Total Time: 6 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x
  • Diet: Low Fat

Description

A delicious and healthy twist on the classic s’mores dessert, this Double Chocolate Protein S’mores Bowl combines creamy non-fat Greek yogurt, rich chocolate protein powder, cocoa, dark chocolate chips, and low-fat graham crackers. Topped with mini marshmallows toasted to perfection, it’s a satisfying and protein-packed treat perfect for a guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Mixture

  • 170 g Non-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 30 g Chocolate Whey Protein Isolate
  • 5 g Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

Mix-ins

  • 10 g Mini Dark Chocolate Chips (divided as 5 g into base and 5 g for topping)
  • 15 g Low-fat Graham Crackers, crushed (divided as 7 g into base and 8 g for topping)

Toppings

  • 10 g Mini Marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a clean mixing bowl, add 170 g of non-fat Greek yogurt, 30 g of chocolate protein powder, and 5 g of unsweetened cocoa powder.
  2. Mix to Mousse: Stir the mixture using a silicone spatula until it reaches a smooth, homogenous chocolate mousse consistency with no lumps.
  3. Add Mix-ins: Fold in 5 g of mini dark chocolate chips and 7 g of crushed low-fat graham crackers into the base mixture evenly.
  4. Prepare Toppings: Level the surface gently, then sprinkle the remaining 8 g crushed graham crackers, 5 g chocolate chips, and 10 g mini marshmallows evenly on top.
  5. Toast Marshmallows: Using a kitchen torch, heat the marshmallow topping for about 15 seconds until lightly toasted and melted. Alternatively, microwave the entire bowl for 20 seconds to achieve the classic s’mores texture.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt and use vegan protein powder and marshmallows.
  • The kitchen torch method gives a crisp toasted marshmallow flavor, while microwaving softens the marshmallows more uniformly.
  • This recipe serves as a single portion but can be scaled up for multiple servings.
  • Ensure to use low-fat and non-fat ingredients to keep the recipe light and protein-rich.
